We celebrated my parents 50th Wedding anniversay on September 1 with a reception for family and friends. All of the family was able to make it back home for the event. It was the first time we have all been together at the same time for a number of years!
The photo is of Mom & Dad on their wedding day in 1957. They look so young, and really I guess they were. Funny how we don't always see our parents as they really are young and full of life, only as "parents". I realized the other day I am almost as old as my mom was when she became a grandmother for the first time. UGH!
